Brazil: Open House at Manaus
Umicore in Manaus manufactures high-technology products to serve the chemical, petrochemical, household electrical appliance, automotive, refrigeration, watchmaking, jewellery and optics industries.
There's no better way to show all this to the employee's families than during an Open Day.
So on October 8, 2005, all employees and their families were invited to have a guided tour of the plant.
And as one of the priorities of the plant is the safety performance, the fun part for the children was related to... safety at home!
