The Sales Administrator will support the North American sales organization for precious metals compounds, provide excellent customer service & support, and interface with key internal and external stakeholders in order to support the revenue and profitability targets of the department.
Customer Service: The Sales Administrator I will be responsible to ensure that the essential business functions necessary to support PMC manufacturing in Tulsa are met. These include, but not limited to: order processing, customer support, shipping support, invoicing, and customer follow-up.
Production Support: The Sales Administrator I will provide support to the production organization as necessary to ensure that customer requirements are met. This may include shipping support, customer communications, etc.
Regulatory Relations: Responsible for monitoring regulations (for both government and non-government agencies) and changes in agencies governing the chemical industries. Ensuring Umicore PMC is compliant with the requirements of these agencies and keeping auditable proof of compliance up to date and easily accessible in the event of an audit. Ensuring proper classifications and licensing information, where applicable, is present at the time material is produces or arrives at our facility. Monitoring applicable FTA’s (EX: NAFTA) and ensuring customers have the documentation requested in order import under those FTAs.

Education and Experience
- GED or high school diploma required, technical certificate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a customer service and sales organization;
- Knowledge in SAP or similar software preferred;
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent business communication skills in all forms, including: written, oral, email, virtual/electronic, telephone and presentation
- Strong client management skills and commercial focus
- A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new customer management tools
- Ability to use own initiative and be proactive
- Must have a team success mentality and look to collaborate closely to achieve results wherever opportunities are found.
