Does Umicore have a Stock Option Plan?
Several stock option plans currently exist:
- All employee Stock Option Plan 1999 (all personnel)
- Incentive Stock Option Plan 2002 - 2003 (managerial staff)
- Incentive Stock Option Plan 2004 - 2007(senior managerial staff)
At 31 December 2008 there were about 3,307,900 outstanding options in the frame of these stock option plans, corresponding to the same number of shares. Umicore has the possibility to allocate shares held by the company (share buy-back program) when the options are exercised, so that no new shares have to be created, avoiding or limiting the potential capital dilution.
