Rhode Island, USA: Walking is good for you
On October 16th, 12 of our colleagues participated in the 10th annual 5-mile Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, together with their families. All 12 were from Umicore Indium Products (UIP) in Providence, Rhode Island, USA.
Attracting 8,000 walkers from all over the US, the event raised about $600,000 for the American Cancer Society and its work in patient support, education, research and advocacy programs.
