Guilty of generosity
Three colleagues at Umicore Optical Materials in Quapaw, USA, participated in a remarkable charity event. Together with other volunteers they were supposedly locked-up in prison.
Their crime? Having a big heart.
These friendly prisoners could only be released when enough “bail” was raised on their behalf by colleagues, friends, and family. Bake sales were organised and all Quapaw employees stepped in.
In the end all the money collected was donated to the non-profit Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).
