Responsible for sales of precious metal products and refining services to the Jewellery and Industrial markets (Canada and USA).
Responsible for realizing revenues in USA and Canada together with other sales associates. Reporting on the sales activities; new market opportunities & changes in customer demands. Managing US branch office, including negotiating lease agreement and contracts, managing direct reports, CSR and sales team. This involves travel up to 35%.
Participation in management team, specifically for marketing and sales topics, forecasting and budgeting & sales strategies.
In collaboration with sales associates, proposes how a marketing budget of cad$150k is used. Coordination of marketing efforts within approved budget.
Participation in continuous improvement of the integrated management system, specifically for sales and marketing related topics, including follow up on non-conformities as customer complaints.
Other duties as assigned.
Increasing market share and profitability in the US and Canadian Jewellery Industry
Intense competition in and from the US
Managing staff for both CSR and sales responsibilities while managing own territory.
Person holding this position should be confident and ambitious; possess a positive attitude; must comfortable with public speaking/presentations; capable of interacting/interfacing with broad range of multi cultural customers.
Negotiations skills for internal and external contracts, budgets and customer negotiations.
Able to analyze data/Technical knowledge in manufacturing and refining.
Computer literate/SAP, Word, Excel and or Oracle
Minimum a post secondary degree/diploma in marketing and sales
Demonstrated experience of sales of industrial products (B2B) and responsibility for sales budget (minimum 10 years)
Experience in the (precious) metals industry is a plus
