What you will be doing

Program Manager is responsible for coordinating multiple R&D projects and their associated interfaces. They are responsible for overseeing the overall progress of projects, identifying risks, and resolving issues through prioritization and moderation. Another crucial aspect of their role is to facilitate the allocation of appropriate resources and tools, and to provide communication platforms as needed.

  • Consolidate and integrate information to help define R&D product roadmaps and necessary prioritizations. Manage R&D product development project portfolio to provide overall R&D strategic directions.
  • Facilitate R&D project leaders to deliver new products within planned timeframe and technical scope. Coordinate and monitor execution of R&D programs and projects. Support R&D communities to resolve issues and bottlenecks by mediation and escalation.
  • Collaborate with R&D to support commercial teams with technical interactions with customers. Assist in defining customer strategies and support key customer qualification projects.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain program tools, including the Development Qualification Procedure and its documents, product lists database, product roadmaps, and dashboards. Collaborate with digitalization project teams when needed.

 

Who we are looking for

• A technical degree (Bachelor's degree or above in Chemistry, Physics, Materials, Engineering) is a must.
• Ph.D. degree / MS+5year / BS+7years of working experience  in Rechargeable Battery or related fields; or
• Work experience within the domains of R&D program management or customer project management.
• Experience and understanding of Li-ion battery materials, product design, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience and understanding of the automotive industry and qualification processes.

• Natural project management, planning, and coordination skills.
• Good understanding of R&D and Quality Management.
• Fluent communication (writing and speaking) in both Korean and English.
• Good presentation and summarization skills, and delivery of concise messages.
• Proactive and accurate records keeping and document management.
• Experienced user of MS Office (e.g. Excel, Project, and PowerPoint).
• Competence in coding (VBA, Python, etc.) is a nice-to-have.
