About Automotive Catalysts

Our products have prevented billions of tons of harmful gases and particles being released into the atmosphere. To enable our customers to produce even cleaner engines we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new ideas. Which is where you come in.
What you will be doing
The function will manage :
Pricing and quotations for all global customer programs within the boundaries set by a global financial model. This requires close interaction with local teams in multiple entities.
Commercial terms and conditions including PGM and substrate delivery systems.
Close exchange with PM on the development of specifications and its impact on pricing.
Expenditure within his/her budget.
Commercial terms of joint development programs with the customer (in line with AC guidelines on Customer Specific Application Projects/ CSAP).
Marketing approach for introduction of new technologies together with Product Management and Marketing.
The function develops the global IBP with the Global Sales Director. S/he ensures accurate information are developed for the BI tool and signs them off. S/he plans, agrees and reaches a defined financial target as outlined in the IBP. S/he executes the IBP within the agreed strategy.
The function supports the decision making process of AC-SM. This includes, that:
budgets are planned and reached
agreement on customer specific targets is reached
customer specific requirements are communicated to the supervisor and capacity restrictions are communicated to the customer
action list for optimization of customer specific as well as general working capital needs are agreed and executed
justification of capital investment projects is supported with necessary case studies
optimization of certification activities (quality requirements) of AC-plants are supported
Who we are looking for
Functional Background
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Technical fields. Masters/MBA preferred.
General Environment: Leadership skills demonstrated by successfully managing complex teams and environments; strategic, tactical and financial managerial skills; excellent communication skills with internal and external customers especially in an intercultural environment; good analytical skills.
Specialized or technical knowledge and skills: 10 years industry experience with an internationally operating company.
Required Job Experiences: Leadership experience in Sales & Marketing, finance, product development, R&D or manufacturing
Behavioral Background
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate an ability to develop and deliver effective internal and external presentations
Demonstrate advanced analytical capabilities and problem solving skills
Experience working in a team environment and matrix organization
Project management skills, strong customer support skills and cultural sensitivity
Computer literacy with demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Able to work as an individual as well as to participate in and lead teams
Good influencing/negotiation skills
Fluent in English with excellent capacity to both listen and verbalize; additional languages beneficial
Availability to travel (1-2 international trips per year)
