What you will be doing

As Global HR Process Excellence and Automation Lead you pragmatically drive global progress on process harmonization and automation within the different HR teams. The goal is to achieve a global consistent way of working in a customer oriented way supporting Umicore”s RISE 2030 strategy.

 

Your contribution within the HR team:

  • You are the driving force to facilitate process improvements within our HR teams. You detect opportunities, manage projects from A-Z, facilitate workshops with different stakeholders, etc. with the main objective to streamline HR process globally.
  • Once processes are mapped and opportunities for automatization/harmonization are captured, you take the lead in the implementation of these new way of working. You interact with 3th party service providers, end-users, business partners, etc. and keep overview on the project’s progress.
  • You are a coach for HR colleagues on working within projects and act as a trainer around project management as the need arises. You succeeds in transferring your knowledge to other HR team members.
  • You work closely together with HR centers of expertise (payroll, comp and ben, recruitment talent) and IT to ensure alignment through strong cooperation and communication.

Who we are looking for

  • You combine HR operational and administration expertise (talent management, reward management, payroll) with a passion for Operational Excellence. A certification (Lean, TQM, Six Sigma) is an asset.
  • Your organizational skills, problem-solving approach  and entrepreneurial mindset makes you a strong project manager. You are able to make clear decisions that are supported by different stakeholders.
  • You have experience in setting up workflow automations via solutions as Neocase, ServiceNow, RPA, etc. You think in terms of processes and detect opportunities for automatization.
  • You feel at home in a multinational working environment. You have respect for cultural differences and takes these into account to cope with resistance.
