What you will be doing

Within the framework of Umicore PMC USA revenue goals and sales objectives, the Sales Administrator I will support the North American sales organization for precious metals compounds, provide excellent customer service & support, and interface with key internal and external stakeholders in order to support the revenue and profitability targets of the department.

The ongoing job functions of the position are addressed in the ‘Main Responsibilities’ section below:  

       1.  Customer Service:  The Sales Administrator I will be responsible to ensure that the essential business functions necessary to support PMC manufacturing in Tulsa are met.  These include, but               not limited to: order processing, customer communications, shipping support, invoice and customer follow up.  The Sales Administrator I will also be responsible for preparation of customer                   price quotations and proposals when requested.  

       2.  Product Support:  The Sales Administrator I will provide support to the production organization as necessary to ensure that the customer requirements are met.  This may include shipping                      support, customer communications etc.   

      3.  Business Development Support:  Assist Business Development Team in preparation/review of customer price quotations, proposals and forward sales agreements (FSA).   

      4. Other duties:  Assist with organizing company activities, trade show registrations, and/or duties as assigned by supervisor.  

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a customer service and sales organization;
  • Knowledge in SAP or similar software helpful but not mandatory;
  • Proficient in MS Office
