What you will be doing

 

  • Responsible for the total warehousing cost (site1,2,3 and external). Define the yearly budgets for opex and capex of the warehouse, optimize the total warehousing(internal & external) and internal logistic cost.
  • Day to day management of the site and internal logistics team. Optimally organize workforce, assuring development including OJT, taking initiatives for retention and people satisfaction.
  • Making sure there is an optimal execution of the planning with WMS(SAP) for W&IL(Shipments, movements between plants or internal and external warehouses) and take the cost leadership mainly for packing materials and shipment/mt
  • Managing of deliveries of raw materials from the warehouses to the production plants, of finished goods to the warehouses and prepare and deliveries shipments of finished goods to customers in time
  • Maintaining the overview of all inventory movements and Maximizing the WH’s utilization. Organize monthly stock taking in all internal & external warehouses and be in charge of compiling all inventory data for the plant controller and reconciling them at the end of the month.
  • Responsible of the quality of the warehouse service (delivery time, error rate, packaging and labeling consistency,…) and continuous improvement (lean, 5S, Kaizen,…) in the warehouses. This includes developing optimized systems for tracking of raw materials, intermediate and finished good products in the warehouses and the plants.
  • Execute the BU’s operational strategy (=ROCE : RBM Operation Concept for Excellence ) for the warehouse and internal logistics department.
  • Follow up the KPI’s and ACCE (Awareness Competence Compliance Excellence) strategy  by taking the lead to continuously improve the warehouse and internal logistics department’s safety performance.

 

Who we are looking for

 

  • BSc with 5 years’ experience in logistics or warehousing
  • Master in Logistic is desired but not mandatory
  • Knowledge and understanding of logistics and warehouse management and underlying administrative processes (e.g. monthly stocktaking)
  • Computer skills: office software (Excel, Access, Word and Sharepoint), SAP(WMS)
  • Basic knowledge of cost calculation
  • Good written and spoken English communication is a plus
  • Good communicator, strong interpersonal skills, promoter of cross-department cooperation
  • Ability to organize and coach his team and to support project teams
  • Basic knowledge of operational management (planning, production systems, 5S and Kaizen)
  • Basic knowledge of Q, E and S management systems (ISO 9001, TS16949, ISO 14000, ISO 45001)
  • Ability to identify and solve problems
  • Ability to define needs and promote change
  • Analytical thinking, problem solving ability.
  • Self-motivation, reasonable, opened mind, organization skills and adaptability to change team spirit.
  • Positive attitude and challenge spirit for new environment
