What you will be doing

Greenfield and commissioning phase

-General guidance to the Havana project as production and process expert

-Formulate/adapt production and working instructions, protocols etc to UFCC process

-Support the commissioning phase as process expert including analytical methods, quality system and process/equipment validation and acceptance

-Support Hazard analysis

-Training and guidance of new UFCC personal

-Be proactive and contribute to the identification of gabs and project tasks important for meeting milestones for the greenfield and commissioning phase

 

Normal operation phase

The job holder is responsible for production process support for the area assigned to him/her. This involves:

- Evaluation of production data with regard to product and process quality / product analytics and failure analysis.

- Preparation and updating of safety assessments

- Derive measures for process stabilization, inventory minimization and optimization of PM balances from the analysed process data.

- Implementation of process optimizations in consultation with the functions involved (RT, Segment, Engineering)

- Definition and implementation of technical changes / small investments, with regard to safety, cost and time savings

- Troubleshooting

- Reviewing and adapting process documentation and instructions as required, also from outcome of process optimizations, troubleshooting etc.

-Training and guidance of production personal.

-Be proactive when it comes to plant improvements and efficient operation of the plant processes

 

- Train and instruct production staff

        

Who we are looking for

     Bachelor or above in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Hydrometallurgy is must (or alike)

     4-6 years of experience in chemical industry, production or industrialization

     Excellent proficiency in Chinese and English

     Experience of chemical Hydrometallurgy

     Capable of working both independently with self-driven spirit.

     Mentally and physically strong is must, must be able and willing to handle flexible working time to late night per project needs.

     PSM tools such as Hazop, what if, Swift are must. Auto CAD is must. CFD, Aspen plus, Power BI, PI, DCS, APC, SIS are plus.

     Being able to perform simple chemical unit operation calculation via Excel is plus.
