To enable our customers to produce even better performing batteries we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new ideas. Umicore in Kokkola

We offer several internships each year to students in various fields. We have trained and experienced internship supervisors who will guide you throughout your internship. An internship at Umicore offers an excellent opportunity to get to know the industrial operating environment of a large international company, gain practical skills and apply your studies in real work tasks. In Kokkola, we offer internships in, for example, laboratories, process industries and maintenance. Please note that all our interships are conducted in Finnish as our working language in Kokkola is Finnish. For safety reasons, we cannot accept interns who do not have fluent Finnish, both written and spoken. 

We hope that you are interested in working in an industrial environment and that you are committed to working safely and to following the safety regulations in our area. Your future colleagues also hope that you are self-initiative and eager to learn new things. During your internship, you do not have to work alone and you will always have a professional with you who you can ask for advice.

Internship period

You can apply for an internship year-round using this application form. The duration and date of the internship will be agreed separately according to your studies.
