What you will be doing

With BL’s guideline, be responsible for local sales & marketing as well as coordination between Umicore and customers for PMC/EOM/Brazetec businesses in Korea to achieve commercial gains in terms of turnovers and order quantities

  1. Sales, marketing and development :
  • Maintain strong commercial relationships with customers and sustainable position
  • Create new account for additional contribution of turnover
  • Coordinate optimal communication between BL and customers
  • Manage sales support
    • deliveries, complaints, administration, K-REACH inquiries etc.
    • Compliance with K-REACH, K-CCA and Occupational Safety and health
  • Investigate and develop new opportunities
    • get a deep understanding for the market movements, customer’s structure and internal decision making process, as well as the competition status
  1. Reporting of market information
  • Business overview in regular reports
  • Market review of customers and competitors
  • Customer visit reports
  1. Strategic planning & development
  • Do analyse import & export statistics.
    • Gathering market info/data on current and future price evolutions and key material trends.
  • Build up a relationship with end users to have overall view on the market
  • Participate on key conferences to learn market stream & prospect

 

Who we are looking for

  • Over 5 year experience in chemical or relevant industry
    • Working experience in multinational company is a plus 
  • Proven chemical and commercial background is highly preferred 
  • Chemical compliance experience has advantage 
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills required
