Florange specializes in the production of catalysts for heavy-duty vehicles, while in Grenoble we specialize in the development, manufacturing and marketing of cobalt, pre-alloyed, tungsten, and tungsten carbide powders for the production of hard metals, diamond tools and various other applications. Umicore Paris offers a multi-function sales and advisory team for the entire French market.

The Florange site joined the Umicore group in 2007. Since then, it has occupied a strategic position as a benchmark site for the production of catalysts for heavy-duty vehicles. It specializes in the manufacture of oxidation catalysts, particulate filters for diesel engines, and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems. These technologies are designed to meet the requirements of the European market for both on-road and off-road heavy-duty vehicles and light-duty diesel vehicles.
