Umicore Brasil Ltda., headquartered in Guarulhos, São Paulo, has been operating in Brazil for over 50 years. After the transfer of industrial activities to Americana in 2021, the site now serves as a corporate office for the region.

Coimpa, a subsidiary of the Umicore group, operates in the Manaus Industrial Hub. It manufactures a wide range of high-tech intermediate products based on precious metals used to manufacture wires, rivets, anodes, crystals and alloys in various shapes and specifications. It is also a reference in the production of salts and chemical compounds of metals for applications in various industrial segments, such as electronics, jewelry, decoration, chemicals, glass, and others.

Chengdu is a sub-branch of Umicore Market Solutions in Shanghai.

Umicore's Hong Kong presence encompasses dedicated marketing services support for the region. It also operates a significant entity focused on the trading of battery materials and related commodities.

This site includes 2 offices: JCU and UCST. JCU is a joint venture of Umicore Group, committed to innovative research and development of nickel, cobalt and other high-quality chemical raw materials, environmental protection, production and sales service integration. UCST is a joint venture of Umicore for the research, marketing and sales of aqueous phase high-tech surface treatment technology.

Umicore Shanghai includes 3 offices: RHQ, UMS & Battery Materials. Umicore's Greater China headquarters (RHQ) serves as a platform for the Group to implement mergers and acquisitions in Greater China as well as providing professional strategic guidance. Umicore Market Solutions China (UMS) provides the Group with services in market development, recovery of rare precious metals, sales of products and sourcing of raw materials, as well as localized support in various areas such as international business, capital operations, metal and foreign currency hedging and logistics services. Battery Cathode Materials in Shanghai is mainly engaged in battery materials and other related trading business.

Based in Paris, Umicore France represents the Umicore group in France and supports the development of its activities. We act as a link between the needs of the French market and the group's innovative and sustainable solutions on a global scale. Our areas of expertise are precious metals and refining, surface treatment, platinum products for the glass and chemical industries, BrazeTec industrial solders, and technical ceramics (Kyocera Fineceramics Europe GmbH).

Umicore Galvanotechnik GmbH, located in Schwäbisch Gmünd, is part of the Metal Deposition Solutions business unit. The company develops, produces, and markets products for high-end (precious metal) electroplating applications.

The offices are located in Minato-ku, the most central business district of Tokyo. It handles the import and export of various Umicore products and provides sales and customer services in close cooperation with Umicore's global manufacturing sites. It also houses Umicore Shokubai, joint venture in automotive catalysts, providing sales and customer service through close cooperation with relevant parties.

Umicore Japan Tsukuba houses two businesses, Precious Metals Chemistry (PMC) and Metal Deposition Solutions (MDS). PMC manufactures and analyzes precious metal chemicals, supplying both inorganic and organic products to the Japanese market and other Asian countries. MDS provides technical services, sampling and analysis of precious metal plating chemicals, and supplies products primarily to domestic customers. The sales and customer service teams for both business units are based in Umicore Japan's Tokyo office.

Umicore Africa (Pty) Ltd is the regional extension of the Umicore Group which supports corporate functions and business units, with commercial matters, sales and marketing activities, business development and growth initiatives.

The Quapaw, OK site comprises three business lines supporting Umicore’s vision of supplying materials for a better life. IR Solutions produces high-quality optical components for the infrared spectrum, enabling a wide range of applications including security and surveillance systems, medical diagnostic equipment, thermal imaging, and night vision technologies used in automotive and military sectors. Ge Solutions ensures the reliable supply of ultra-pure Germanium (Ge) for high-performance electronics and optics markets. Through Ge recycling, GeCl4 purification, zone refining, and crystal growth, this business line reinforces Umicore’s commitment to sustainability and dependability. Thin Film Products specializes in sputtering targets, essential components in physical vapor deposition (PVD) processes. Serving a wide range of industries, this line combines deep materials science with advanced manufacturing capabilities to support both standard and custom deposition needs.

Established in 2003, Umicore Hsinchu plant is mainly engaged in the processing and sales of sputtering targets and evaporation targets, which are mainly used in semiconductor, optical products and optoelectronic materials and other related fields.
