About Cobalt & Specialty Materials 

Mastering the cobalt value chain. Umicore’s expertise covers the sourcing, production and distribution of cobalt and nickel products. Umicore’s materials are at the heart of products we use every day such as rechargeable batteries, tools, paints and tyres. Our recycling and refining processes give new life to cobalt and other metals and reduce environmental impacts. To meet the demands of our customers we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways to do things, discover new solutions and develop new ideas. Which is where you come in.

Wat jij zal doen

• Je herstelt, verbetert en stelt elektrische installaties, componenten en toestellen af.
• Je herstelt automatische en computergestuurde installaties.
• Je ontwerpt elektrische installaties van beperkte omvang.
• Je spoort fouten op in elektronische toestellen en herstelt ze.
• Je leest, interpreteert en past de bijhorende schema’s van de bovenvermelde installaties, componenten en toestellen aan (elektrisch, hydraulisch, pneumatisch en P&ID).
• Je voert preventief en correctief onderhoud uit ter voorkoming van stilstanden en productieverlies.

Naar wie we op zoek zijn

• Je hebt een graduaat in een technische richting (elektronica, elektriciteit, MSR, automatisatie, elektromechanica) of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
• Je hebt algemene kennis van hydraulica, pneumatica en mechanica. Basiskennis van PLC (Tia, S7, PCS7) is een pluspunt.
• Je geeft veiligheid steeds de hoogste prioriteit.
• Je kan zelfstandig en nauwkeurig werken met zin voor initiatief.
• Je bent bereid om continu bij te scholen.
• Je werkt graag in groep en bent contactvaardig.
• Je bent systematisch, analytisch en resultaatgericht.
• Je neemt initiatief en stelt verbeteringen voor.
• Je werkt in dagregime maar bent bereid sporadisch in ploegen te werken en deel te nemen aan de wachtdienst.
