Your Key Accountabilities

As Junior Category Manager - Corporate Services, you will take ownership of selected Corporate Services subcategories (such as legal, marketing, facilities, travel, and fleet) within Umicore’s Enterprise Services Procurement team.

You will translate category strategies into concrete sourcing initiatives, support supplier management, and work closely with stakeholders across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional looking to grow into a strategic category management role in a structured and international environment.

    • Lead sourcing and contract renewal initiatives for Corporate Services subcategories
    • Manage supplier relationships, performance follow-up, and renewal planning
    • Maintain and track category pipelines and sourcing activities
    • Support stakeholders by challenging demand and identifying smarter sourcing options
    • Work in line with defined procurement standards, tools, and governance
    • Contribute to dashboards, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
    • Ensure consistent use of procurement systems, including Ariba
Who we are looking for
  • A junior procurement professional with experience in sourcing, procurement, or contract management
  • Strong interest in Corporate Services categories
  • Familiar and comfortable working with procurement tools (Ariba)
  • Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn and grow
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and hands-on approach
  • Confident in interacting with stakeholders
  • Fluency in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus
