High-performance NOâ‚“ reduction for FCC units
Umicore’s DNX FCC (Fluidized Catalytic Cracking) catalysts are designed for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) installations on fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) units, where reliable NOâ‚“ reduction is required in high-dust environments.Â
Based on a fiber‑reinforced vanadium–tungsten–titania catalyst and with a 0.6mm wall, the design is tailored to the specific dust content of the gas, with cell density selected to support efficient operation in different FCC configurations. This flexibility supports optimized performance across different applications and operating conditions.
Proven through industrial experience and extensive testing, Umicore’s DNX FCC catalysts maintain activity over long operating periods. Its design supports reliable operation, contributing to extended service life and reduced maintenance needs.
