Efficient VOC oxidation for emission control applications
Umicore’s VOC oxidation catalysts are designed for emission control in industrial applications where the reduction of volatile organic compounds (VOC) and carbon monoxide (CO) is required. Using Platinum Group Metal (PGM) coating technology, these catalysts enable efficient oxidation of VOC, CO, hydrocarbons (HC) and hazardous air pollutants (HAP), supporting compliance with emission limits.
Based on a proprietary coating applied on cordierite substrates, the catalyst design combines high activity with low pressure drop. This supports efficient system operation while enabling compact and cost-effective solutions across a wide range of applications.
The catalyst platform also allows integration with additional emission control technologies, including NOₓ reduction and ammonia (NH₃) slip control. This flexibility supports combined treatment of multiple pollutants within a single system configuration.
