High-performance NOâ‚“ reduction for low-temperature applications
Umicore’s DNX LT (Low Temperature) catalyst is designed for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) installations operating at low temperatures down to 300 °F / 150 °C. It enables effective nitrogen oxide (NOₓ) reduction in applications where conventional catalysts show reduced activity.
Based on a fiber‑reinforced vanadium–tungsten–titania catalyst with a 0.4 mm wall, the DNX LT design reduces the required catalyst volume, supporting compact system layouts and reducing the need for flue gas reheating.
The catalyst is available in a range of channel sizes to match specific operating conditions. This flexibility contributes to improved system efficiency, enabling lower operating costs and stable operation across applications such as boilers, heaters, biomass plants and waste incineration.
